We are simplifying the WaterHog nomenclature (naming convention) to make it easier for people to identify and select their WaterHog mat. The current naming convention designates 24-ounce WaterHog mats as “WaterHog” followed by the design/pattern (i.e WaterHog Diamond). Alternatively, the 30-ounce WaterHog Mats are dubbed “WaterHog Eco.” At the inception of this product, that distinguishment was correct as the 24-ounce material was polypropylene and the 30-ounce material was recycled PET. However, in 2018-19, we transitioned our polypropylene material to recycled PET. Both products are now eco-friendly so a designation of “Eco” on only one product no longer makes sense. The 30-ounce WaterHog mats will now be called “WaterHog Max” since the heavier-weight 30-ounce material provides greater definition of the mat and a longer service life, for maximum use.
